1. The service
Druppa connects customers with delivery capacity across bike and van last-mile, interstate cargo, and international air and ocean freight, and with merchants offering food, groceries and pharmacy items. Some deliveries are completed by our internal fleet and others by verified marketplace partners.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and provide accurate details.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
- Rider, merchant, fleet, franchise and corporate accounts are approved only after verification, and access is limited to the workspace matching your role.
- We may suspend or close an account for fraud, abuse, repeated exceptions, or breach of these terms.
3. Bookings and pricing
- Local bike and van deliveries are priced by distance; interstate and international shipments are priced by weight, dimensions and mode.
- The fare shown before you confirm is an estimate based on the details you enter. Corrected weight, dimensions, distance, waiting time or a changed address may adjust the final charge.
- You must provide a reachable drop-off phone number. Failed deliveries caused by wrong or unreachable contact details may incur a return charge.
- Scheduled orders are dispatched within the window shown at booking. Estimated arrival times are forecasts, not guarantees.
4. Payment
- You may pay by wallet, card or cash on delivery where offered.
- Cash collected on delivery is remitted through our ledger; riders must remit in full.
- Corporate accounts may operate on credit lines with agreed limits, and we may pause bookings when a limit is reached.
- Wallet balances are for platform use, are not interest-bearing, and are refundable to the original payment method where required by law.
5. Prohibited and restricted items
You may not ship, and merchants may not sell through the platform:
- Illegal drugs, weapons, ammunition or explosives.
- Cash, bullion, unbanded valuables or negotiable instruments unless expressly agreed in writing.
- Live animals, human remains and hazardous or radioactive materials.
- Prescription medicines without a valid prescription verified by a licensed partner pharmacy.
- Counterfeit goods, stolen property, or anything restricted by customs for international movements.
6. Delivery, proof and failed attempts
Riders capture proof of delivery — a photo, signature or hand-off code — at drop-off. Where the receiver is unavailable, we will attempt contact through the call centre. Unclaimed items are returned to the sender and a return fee may apply.
7. Cancellations and refunds
- You may cancel free of charge before a rider is assigned.
- Once a rider is en route to pickup, a partial cancellation fee may apply to cover the trip.
- Merchant orders already accepted by a kitchen or pharmacy cannot generally be cancelled.
- Approved refunds are returned to your wallet or original payment method.
8. Liability and claims
We handle every shipment with care, but our liability for loss or damage is limited to the declared value of the item, up to the cover level applicable to the service selected, and does not extend to indirect or consequential losses such as lost profit. Claims must be raised through the dispute flow within 7 days of the delivery date, with supporting evidence.
9. Acceptable use
- Do not harass, threaten or discriminate against riders, merchants or staff.
- Do not attempt to contact riders outside the masked call system, or bypass the platform to avoid fees.
- Do not scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the platform, or misuse API keys issued to a corporate account.
10. Changes, termination and governing law
We may update these terms and will post the revised version on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept it. Either party may end the relationship at any time, subject to settling outstanding balances. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
