Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Druppa Delivery Network ("Druppa", "we", "us") collects when you use our website, apps and delivery services, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Last updated 23 August 2026

1. Who we are

Druppa Delivery Network operates a delivery platform covering food, groceries, pharmacy, parcels, interstate cargo and international freight, together with tracking, a call centre and a hybrid internal and marketplace fleet.

We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at support@druppa.co or +234 700 378 7721, 24 hours a day.

2. Data we collect

We collect only what an order or an account needs to work:

  • Account data — name, email address, phone number, password credentials and the workspace roles attached to your account.
  • Order data — pickup and drop-off addresses, receiver name and phone number, item descriptions, weight or dimensions for freight, delivery notes and hand-off codes.
  • Location data — rider location while a job is active, and approximate device location if you allow it, so we can show live tracking and estimated arrival times.
  • Payment data — wallet balance, transaction history, invoices and the last four digits and card type returned by our payment processor. We never store full card numbers.
  • Communications — call centre recordings and metadata for masked calls between riders and customers, in-app chat, support tickets and dispute notes.
  • Verification data — for riders, fleet partners and merchants: identity documents, vehicle papers and business registration details submitted during onboarding.
  • Technical data — device type, browser, IP address, crash reports and usage events, including cookies and similar technologies described in our Cookie Policy.

3. How we use your data

  • Creating and securing your account, and signing you into the right workspace.
  • Accepting, pricing, dispatching, tracking and proving delivery of your orders.
  • Masking rider and customer phone numbers so neither party sees the other's real number.
  • Processing payments, wallet top-ups, refunds, cash-on-delivery remittance and invoices.
  • Handling support requests, delivery exceptions, disputes and claims.
  • Preventing fraud, abuse and theft, and verifying that riders and merchants are who they say they are.
  • Improving routing, pricing and service quality using aggregated and de-identified analytics.
  • Sending service messages by SMS, email or push. Marketing messages are only sent where you have opted in, and every marketing message includes an opt-out.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share the minimum needed with:

  • Riders and fleet partners — the pickup and drop-off details required to complete your delivery.
  • Merchants — your order contents and first name when you buy from a restaurant, pharmacy or store.
  • Corporate account administrators — order, spend and delivery records booked under their account.
  • Service providers — payment processors, SMS and email gateways, mapping providers, cloud hosting and analytics, each bound by contract to process data only on our instructions.
  • Customs, carriers and authorities — where required to move an international shipment or to comply with the law.

6. How long we keep data

Order, invoice and remittance records are retained for the period required by tax and accounting rules. Call recordings and rider location traces are retained for a limited operational window and then deleted or de-identified. Account data is deleted or anonymised after you close your account, except where we must keep records for legal or dispute reasons.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Contact support@druppa.co and we will respond within the time frame required by applicable law.

8. Security

Access to customer records is restricted by role, and privileged actions such as dispute resolution and API key changes are recorded in an audit trail. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us immediately if you suspect account misuse.

9. Children

Druppa is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we delete such data if we discover it.

10. Changes and contact

We will post any material change to this policy on this page and update the date above. You can reach us at support@druppa.co or +234 700 378 7721, 24 hours a day.
